No, it's certainly NOT Last Resort.

"Oi Skinhead" is a song incorrectly attributed to late 80's ska-punk band Operation Ivy.

The was written and performed by a Baltimore, MD, USA punk rock band called Chaotix. It was recorded in 1997 for a CD split with another Baltimore band called Subsist. For this reason, it is often found listed as being by "Subsist-Chaotix." The CD, entitled "2 Player Simultaneous Action!" was released in March 1998 on independent label ?Whobuys Records.

Noted on Operationivy.com as being the most frequently asked question about the band, the mis-labeling of the song dates back to the first days of peer-to-peer service Napster. It is believed that an early adopter of the service had a directory of Operation Ivy songs which had this one mistakenly among them. As the popularity of that service grew, so did the confusion. Today, it is found all over the internet as an Operation Ivy song: Lyrics, "Operation Ivy Tablature".

Since the CD has long been out of print, this misunderstanding has actually rendered it quite collectible.

Lyrics to the song presented in the links above have some flaws. The following are taken from the liner notes of the CD.

Oi Skinhead It makes you feel tough Makes you think you're a bad-*** Feel like you're part of something, Like you're working class. You and your boys too, Part of the bad-*** crew Where opression seems to be wrong unless its ******* used by you.

Unity skins and Nazis who are just the ******* same violence and opression under a diffrent name. Beating up on a black or a jew is just like beating up on gays. When i try and talk to you I get smacked across the face.

and I say: Oi! Oi! Oi! Skinhead (repeat)

Traditional skins weren't violent but they stood against mistreatment Shaved their heads and they wore boots to make a political statement. Fought with their minds and not their fists and started a ******* wave it's been taken and altered into a violent gang of

Unity skins and Nazis who are just the ******* same. violence and opression under a diffrent name Beating up on a black or a jew, beating up on gays when i try and talk to you I get smaked across the ******* face and I say: Oi! Oi! Oi! Skinhead (repeat)

I've stereotyped and I'm sorry, to the true skinhead... But some of your boys have start to give you a bad name, punks and skins must unite again and we'll get ******* pissed We'll fight the real enemy with our minds we'll put down our fists and we'll say Oi! Oi! Oi! Skinhead (repeat until end)

At shows, singer Tod Spalt said that the lyrics to this song were written after a physical altercation with skinheads.
